The project is located at the Hawaii Army National Guard, 298th Regiment Multi-functional, Regional Training Institute (RTI), 711 Tinker Road, Waimanalo, HI 96795. The scope will include removal of wallpaper and painting hallway, office, and classroom interior walls. The project will take place across three buildings at RTI-B711, B712, and B713. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary to perform all work related to wallpaper removal, wall patching, cleaning, prepping and painting. The contractor shall remove existing wallpaper indicated in the drawings- approximately 9,855 sqft across all 3 buildings. Contractor will be responsible for removing all furniture and/or wall mounted fixtures necessary. The contractor is responsible for patching any drywall or concrete prior to painting. The contractor shall protect the existing murals located in B711 and B713 (see drawings for more details). The contractor shall then paint interior walls indicated in the drawings. The approximate area to be painted in all 3 buildings is 24,385 sqft, the contractor is responsible for confirming measurements. The contractor is responsible for providing and posting "WET PAINT" signs where appropriate. The contractor shall provide 10 gallons of spare paint and move furniture back into the rooms. The contractor must at minimum be RRP or OSHA Lead Awareness Trained to prep the painted surfaces to receive new paint. See attached scope of work.
