This project consists of demolishing existing pavement over 17,700 sqft at a depth of 3 inches of asphalt and 6 inches of base course and then installing approximately 17,700 sqft of Asphalt at a depth of 3 inches on top of tack-coated new base course of 8,850 cubic feet (depth of 6 inches). Installation is to be conducted per Project Plans attached. All work is to be in accordance with SOH Department of Transportation and City & County of Honolulu Standards.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to perform all work related to: 1) Excavating approximately 3,525 CF of existing pavement and course material 2) Recycling of all material 3) Prepping and installing approximately 2,350 CF base course and compacting the grade 4) Applying a layer of tack coat (bitumen-based) 5) Paving a 3" thick layer of HMA (~1,175 CF of State Mix IV) 6) Striping 7) Sign Installation Inverted crowning the road and grading 2% towards Ticonderoga Street will be required by the Contractor.
